South Korea Expands Food Safety Partnerships
South Korea launched a food safety training program hosting officials from eight Latin American nations to strengthen import safeguards and support Korean agricultural export expansion. The fourth-year initiative ran through November and included participants from Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and six other countries. The program builds international trade confidence in Korean products.
PepsiCo Recalls Gatorade Over Undeclared Food Dyes
PepsiCo voluntarily recalled approximately 122,000 cases of Gatorade across 37 US states due to the presence of undeclared yellow food dyes in 28-ounce bottles of Lemon Lime, Lime Zero, Orange, and Orange Zero varieties. The recall was initiated on September 25 and posted by the FDA for consumer awareness. The undeclared additives could potentially cause adverse health consequences in susceptible individuals.
