Hackers Hijack National Domains, Forge Certificates for Google

Attackers compromised country-code top-level domains including Ghana, Sierra Leone and American Samoa to issue unauthorized HTTPS certificates for Google properties. The breach did not directly compromise Google's systems but put millions of users at risk through fraudulent SSL certificates.
